Our New Digs

Good news! At least for us. We moved into our condo this last weekend. It’s in a very nice development called City Lights (there is a link to the City Lights website on the right), high on a hill overlooking Cebu City. Our unit faces west, so we get mostly evening sunlight. That will be a blessing on those rare days we get to sleep in!

The unit comes furnished with couch, bed, etc. We’ve been busy picking up the odd piece of kitchen equipment you just don’t think of (trash bags, coffee pot, blender, etc.), as well as things you take for granted – salt, pepper, cumin, garlic, refried beans, you know, the essentials.

We’re looking forward to being able to get a real feel for the complex this weekend. We haven’t had a chance to walk the grounds and try out the exercise room yet. We’ll post more pictures as we go.
